Chris Tanner and Martin Coleman formed STC Optronics on leaving Nortel at the end of 2002 with the aim of providing technical support to the electronic industry and community at large.

The company is a social enterprise that uses the directors' specialist skills and an extensive network of contacts drawn from the electronics industry.

We are able to call upon external expertise such as analytical and test facilities, new materials manufacture, capability audits.

The company has a flexible approach depending upon customer requirements; varying from specific work packages to short-term part or full time contracts.
