Chris Tanner and Martin Coleman worked together for many years at Nortel's Harlow Laboratory, (previously STL) providing new technology introduction and reliability and trouble-shooting support into the electronics and
opto-electronics component and printed circuit board assembly manufacturing operations. During that period, they developed detailed knowledge and experience of materials, production processes, eco-technology including impact of the new European Eco-directives:

• WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
• RoHS (Restriction in the use of certain Hazardous Substances)

They have extensive experience in the introduction of lead-free soldering, hybrid circuit technology and long life reliability predictions and testing in various telecommunications environments.

With the outsourcing of much of the manufacturing, they provided key links into the supply chain from materials, components through to finished assemblies.

Both within Nortel and externally, they are recognized as international experts in their respective fields.
They have the benefit of working with colleagues at the leading edge of advanced component and telecom equipment development.
